TLE | NO. 30

Mirror {only $50!} | Woven Baskets | Candle {smaller version here} | Horse Print | Marble Tray | Concrete Planter | Pom-Pom Basket {obsessed with this} | Sheepskin Chair | Cowhide Rug

Although we're in the beginning stages of designing our new space (think tile floors, rather than pom-pom baskets), I still have SO much home dècor on the brain.  I definitely want to keep the same theme of our old home, french farmhouse, all while adding in a few different colors and textures.  I'm obsessed with all of these pieces, together or separate, to create one super chic space!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Happy Friday, lovelies -

Since I often share details of my nighttime skincare routine with you all on snapchat (@meganrunionmcr), I've had a lot of requests for a full skincare blog post.  After testing out product after product in my early 20's, I've finally perfected my routine and become quite obsessed with it.  Keep in mind that I have super dry skin, so a lot of these products (and the way I use them each night) won't be for every skin type.  However, there's always a similar product that won't be quite as hydrating for all of you with oily skin (I'll link those below as well) that will serve as a great alternative or easily taken out of the routine all together.  I promise, promise, promise if you invest in these products now and use them nightly for the next 30 days, you'll see a big difference in the overall quality of your skin.  We all have things that we love to splurge on and for some of you, skincare may not be one of those things, but for me- taking care of my skin, body, + mind is everything.

1. Neutrogena Make Up Removal Wipes - I've literally used these wipes since middle school.  They are my OG, tried and true, product for removing my make up.  I don't feel like anything takes off my eyeliner, mascara, and foundation, better so I like to start here and then use a gentle cleanser.

2. Power Glow Peel - This is a product that has only been in my routine for the last six months or so, but I've become SO obsessed.  My skin, especially in the Winter, gets so dry and flaky, so these wipes are literally magic.  Each wipe is a mini facial in that it exfoliates and gets rid of that dry and dirty, top layer of skin, all while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.  I started off using these 2-3 times a week until my skin was used to them, but now I use one every other night.  If you have dry skin - these are a GAME changer.  I'll never be able to go without them again!

3. Cleansing Foam - A gentle cleanser is a product that most everyone has in their routine.  I personally love this one because I love the results I've seen from using La Mer, but any cleanser will work.  It's just nice to get any dirt or leftover makeup off of your face before moisturizing and going to bed.

4. Toothbrush - After the wipes/cleansing and before moisturizing, it's always nice to let your face air out a bit.  I usually use this time to brush and floss my teeth.  Obviously I didn't list each product that I use in the graphic above, but for those interested, I use Crest 3D White Toothpaste and occasionally, the strips.

5. Moisturizer - This is my 'ALL the praise hands' product.  I seriously can't live without this moisturizer.  It has 100% changed my skin completely.  I use the applicator that comes with the moisturizer (simply so that I don't have to put my fingers in the jar) and it only takes a tiny bit for your whole face, meaning this product will last you a long time.  Some people prefer not to use this every night, but my skin is so dry, that I have to.  Others who love La Mer, but don't have super dry skin, use the moisturizing soft cream as an alternative that still gives you amazing, glowing results.

6. Renewal Oil - I just started using this product about six months ago as well, and I absolutely love it.  It literally just glides right over the top of your moisturizer (basically serves as a serum), giving your skin a beautiful, healthy glow.  This product also only takes 3-4 drops to cover your entire skin/neck.  I make sure to rub it in really well around my hairline and jawline, where fine lines tend to settle.  When you wake up in the morning, your skin feels just as hydrated and nourished as when you put it on.  In my opinion, this product is worth every penny.

7. NeuLASH - I literally started using this last night, so I can't exactly speak to how much I love it quite yet.  However, I can tell you that it's super easy to apply and I've heard SUCH amazing things about it.  Even reading through the reviews + looking at before and after photos, you can tell it actually works.  I'm using it every night for the next 30 days (at least), so I'll be sure to let you know how it is!

8. Body Lotion - I picked up a HUGE bottle of this super hydrationg body lotion during the Nordstorm Sale a few months ago in hopes that I would love it and I absolutely do.  I take baths at night, so after I dry off and before climbing in to bed, I have to hydrate my skin.  This lotion doesn't have too much of an odor and is so moisturizing, especially for your legs.  Even J will use some of this when throwing on shorts or when he has dry skin, so it's definitely something your guy can share, too!

9. Silk Pillow Case - It's been about a year since I got on the silk pillow case kick and I don't think I'll ever go back.  This one is so good for your skin and hair, plus I love how cool to the touch it stays during the night.  I've washed mine multiple times now and it has held up really well.  If you're going to spend money and invest in great skincare, you might as well get your beauty sleep on something as luxurious as silk!

Really quick - one other product that I didn't have an image for, but can't live without is COCONUT chapstick.  I don't know about you guys, but I'm one of those people that cannot go to bed without something moisturizing on my lips.  They get so dry and chapped if I don't!  So many people use different flavors of the OG chapstick brand and I'm not sure what it is about the coconut flavor, but I can't live without it.  I've tried everything for every amount of money and literally nothing compares to how much I love this one.  It's so inexpensive, too!  You can get a 3 pack here for $11! (I always order off of Amazon because it's almost impossible to find in drug stores.)

I hope this has been helpful!  Feel free to ask any questions you may have in the comment section below and I'm happy to answer them.  I'll be sure to share any other products I try/love in the future with you all on my snapchat, so be sure to follow along, @meganrunionmcr!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

My best friend has been on the east coast now for 2 weeks now and I still haven't been able to see her!  With our move and settling in to our new place, it just hasn't happened for us yet, but today, I'm SO excited to head to NC and see my McKenna Bleu.  I haven't seen her in person (only on FaceTime) since October and it's been FAR too long!!  Be sure to follow along on snapchat, @meganrunionmcr for BTS!

I hope you've all had a great week so far!  I wanted to take today and share a few of my current favorites with you.  While I was away from my computer the last couple of weeks, I came back this week with a clear mind + fresh start to the new year - all while ready to do some major shopping!  Even my closet didn't know what to do during that two week break.  So today, I thought I would share a few recent purchases, trends I'm loving, and must-have beauty products that I've recently become obsessed with.  So here's goes nothin'-
1. Deodorant - So my girlfriend, Katey McFarlan (aka, my 'I wanna be her when I grow up' girlfriend) got me to try this deodorant and I'm instantly hooked.  Not only does it WORK, but it also smells amazing.  ALL day.  Like seriously, all day.  You know when you're out of shape and simply putting the groceries away makes you sweat - it's okay, you can admit it - Donna Karan said no freaking way.  It's magical, just try it for yourself.

2. Renewal Oil - Okay, you all know my obsession with all things La Mer.  But recently, I decided to add this to my nightly routine and it's been the best. Ever.  Not only because it's Winter time and my skin is extra dry, but mostly because of the way it makes my skin glow when I wake up in the mornings.  It's like it does all the work for you while you're asleep and then you're good to go the minute you wake up.  #winningwhilesleeping

3. NeuLash - This is one of those 'just purchased - can't tell you yet' products, but I'm so excited to try it!  I've only heard great things and after reading ALL 90 reviews, I was sold.  I feel like adding this into my nightly routine will be easy, so I'm excited to see how it works and what the outcome will be after a month of continual use.  Stay tuned!

4. Wave Spray - I've talked about this spray on here before, but it's literally my FAVORITE.  It's smells amazing and gives your hair the perfect wave.  I've been spraying this in, letting my hair air-dry half way before drying it, and then curling it giving it a really messy, unfinished look.  At the end of the day, it's all thanks to this wave spray!

5. Nude Lipstick - You all know how much I love a good nude lip, but this Tom Ford lipstick literally takes the cake.  I've been putting it on for easy errands or a super casual #ootd and love how moisturizing and pretty it is.

1. Lace-Up Anything - I know this trend has been happening for a while now, but I'm still obsessed.  I just ordered THIS and THIS and couldn't be more in love with them.  Perfect for adding to basic denim for a super, chic look!

2. Straight Leg Jeans - Not only do I love the hem of these jeans, but everything from the wash to the high-waisted fit is perfection.  I've never ordered/worn GRLFRND denim before, but I'm really excited to try the brand.

3. Straw Hats - I don't know about you guys, but I already have vacation on the brain.  Anywhere warm + being beside the water is right up my alley.  I just purchased this black, straw hat for all of those staple, basic outfits that need a little umph to them.  Not to mention how obsessed I am with Janessa Leone!

4. Cut Outs - Similar to Lace-Ups, this sweater is SO chic.  I just ordered it and wore it out to dinner a couple of nights ago and LOVE the style, fit, and color.  It's perfect for the new year and showing off that self-tanner, girl. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, babes!  Have a lovely weekend - CHEERS! xx.

Hi there, lovelies -

After taking a couple of weeks off, I thought it would be the perfect time to share ALL of the details from a few of my favorite instagram posts.  It's pretty obvious that I'm constantly gravitating towards three things as of late: camo, leopard, and as always, blush.  Also, SO many of my favorite closet staples are either back in stock or on major sale!  These black, distressed jeans are literally my favorite pair I own and 20% off right now, as well as these camo jeans that are so fun to pair with almost anything.   My oversized camel coat is on sale PLUS an additional 40% off right now and these tassel earrings have quickly become my new favorites!

I hope you're all having a great hump day so far!  Have I mentioned how excited I am for TGIT to start back tomorrow night?!  Scandal + Grey's Anatomy and all will be well with the world again!  What are you guys watching this season?  I need a new show to binge watch!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

TLE | NO. 29

Easy, causal looks like this have been my go-to as of late.  I've always loved an oversized turtleneck + skinny jean combo because the two opposites attract so well.  (How cute are the frayed edges on these jeans?!)  Also, can we talk about this handbag?! I first laid my eyes on her while we were in DC a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to get it off my mind!!  The color is everything - not too pink, not too brown.  Lastly, I've really had a thing for reflective sunglasses again lately.  I went through a phase where I only had one go-to pair, but every time I wear my OG's, I remember why I love them so much.  I just purchased these and can't wait to get them in!

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  If I'm being completely honest, I'm struggling a bit this week.  It's been exactly 6 nights since we've stayed in our home and I still haven't slept.  Change is always hard, but we're taking it one day at a time.  Luckily, we have a beautiful place to stay in and sweet, sweet friends that have been so gracious and understanding.  J has worked so hard to make our new space feel home-y for us and although it's different, I know we'll get there.  In the meantime, I'm so happy to be back to blogging, writing, and connecting with you because that IS my norm!  Cheers to new beginnings and fresh starts, lovelies!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Hi there, babes -

After a crazy couple of weeks, I'm officially back!  Thank you all so much for allowing me that time to {quite literally} get my life together as we moved + closed on our home!  We've moved in with my cousin (aka, my twin in life) and his sweet wife for the next few months while our new home is being renovated and we're loving every second of it.  They have a beautiful house about 10 minutes from where our new home will be, so it's the perfect spot while transitioning.  Plus, I couldn't be more excited to officially start the design process of our remodel!  It'll be such a fun project for J and I to pour ourselves into over the next couple of months and watch it all come to life.  More on that later!

Now, onto the fun news!!  I'm SO excited to be launching my new travel page today!!  Over the last year or so, John and I have loved taking off every couple of weeks on a new adventure.  So much so, that I've decided to add 'travel' as a main outlet of For All Things Lovely, as well as change my title to 'Fashion + Travel Blogger'.  I get so many emails and social media comments each week asking for city recommendations, so I thought an official travel page would be a fun way to connect and share our favorite places and cities.  Where to stay, dine, shop, and explore are all listed under each city for easy research!  (P.S. - the images above are simply screenshots from the actual travel page HERE.)  Each square is clickable and will take you to a seperate page complete with all details.  As of now, I've only included U.S. travel, but will be expanding to include international travel really soon.  My creative director and I have worked really hard on making this easy +  convenient for you guys and I hope you genuinely love it!  As we travel to new places + cities, I'll continue to add more content, as well as social images (with geo tags) using the hashtag #travelwithlovely!

To go along with today's TRAVEL launch, I've teamed up with AWAY to give away a piece of luggage in the size/color of your choice!  Here's how to enter:
