Two Piece Set: Free People {less than $100} | Duster: Free People | Shoes: Valentino | Handbag: Cult Gaia | Choker: Charme Silkner | Bracelet: Hermès | Sunglasses: RayBan

Hello, from sunny Mexico!  We're having the best time here during our little girls getaway!  The resort is beautiful, the weather is perfect, and the views are STUNNING!  I literally never want to leave.  I just need to fly J out here - and Lola...and Gibson - and then all will be well with the world!  I wore this look to our cocktail + dinner party our first night here and absolutely love it.  It's such a comfortable, easy look to throw on yet it looks so chic.  This two piece set comes in three different colors and is less than $100!  Layering the duster completely makes the outfit - I'm seriously obsessed with it, so you'll definitely be seeing a lot of it.  I decided to name this post 'Not Yo' Mama's Duster' because a follower on instagram commented that on my post and I thought it was hilarious.  So true how everything comes back around, but in different, fun ways!

I hope you're all having a great week so far and thanks so much for stopping by! x.

Top: Free People {also here} | Denim: MOTHER | Bralette: Anine Bing {closet staple} | Jacket: Free People | Shoes: Schutz | Sunglasses: Cèline | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

TGIF, babes -

I hope you all had a great week and cheers to the freaking weekend!!  I wore this look out to dinner last weekend and love the chic, weekend vibes it throws out.  I literally gasped when I saw this jacket online last week and knew I HAD to have it.  It's a little on the expensive side, but for such a fun, statement piece I thought it was worth every penny.  It immediately made me want to sing 'fly like an eagle...' all night because to me, the sequins look like wings on the back!  J didn't seem to think so, but he let me sing it anyway. :)  Also, can we talk about this $30 top?!  You all know how much I love anything I can wear a bralette with, so of course I purchased it in two colors.  Perfect for throwing on casually, dressing up, or wearing over your swimsuit!

What are you guys up to this weekend?  We're spending the day by the water tomorrow (happy, happy) at the lake and then I have to get my life together on Sunday in preparation for a fun trip next week!  Stay tuned and have a beautiful weekend, babes!

Crochet Top: Free People {also comes in pink} | Bralette: Topshop {less than $20 + comes in 3 colors} | Shorts: Levi | Sandals: Soludos | Handbag: Gucci | Sunglasses: Cèline | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + NARS Lipstick 'Anita'

Most of the time, this is the type of outfit you can find me in - cut offs, an oversized top, bralette, and cute flats.  When it comes to being casual, but still looking chic and put together, this outfit is the perfect go-to.  I love this crochet top (I'm wearing an xs for reference) paired with a bralette.  I love this blush bralette, but you could also dress this crochet top up with black denim and a lace bralette.  It would even be so cute as a swimsuit cover up!  Either way, staple pieces are always the way to go for filling your closet with pieces that will be on constant rotation, season after season.

I hope you're all having a great week!  I'm heeded to Charlotte today to finally spend some time with my bestie, McKenna Bleu!  Life has been so crazy for both of us and we've been missing each other, so I'm excited for a little girl time.  We're going to the LANY concert tonight and I can't wait!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.
Thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post!

If you're anything like me - you always have vacation on the brain, but especially this time of year!  It's so warm out and my heart belongs by the water.  So, I've rounded up a few of my current favorites to help get you there and look super chic while you're at it.

This bikini is part of the new season Marysia collection and I die for the style.  The scallops are perfect and you can't go wrong with a classic black suit and straw hat.   For a causal, daytime look, I love this striped tee + high-waisted shorts combination.  Plus, adding the backpack and tassel sandals brings such a boho vibe to the classic look, which is perfect for vacation.  Moving on to nighttime, this off-the-shoulder dress is so feminine and pretty!  Paired with the raffia bag and blush chunky heels, it completely changes the look while still keeping that laid-back, effortless feel.  As far as products go, all of these are my favorite go-to's.  The Ouai hair products give you the perfect, beachy waves for day or night and the Tom Ford brozner gives you a warm, subtle glow to match your golden tan!

Are you guys going anywhere fun soon?!  I'm heading somewhere sunny + by the water in a week and I can't wait!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

Dress: BB Dakota | Shoes: Schutz | Handbag: Serpui Marie {also love this} | Sunglasses: RayBan | Bracelet: Chanel + Rachel Zoe c/o | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Kinda Sexy'

Whew, what a weekend!  Ours was full of family time, yard work, blog shoots, + eating out and it feels like a whirlwind.  SO fun though!  I hope you all had a great weekend and celebrated your sweet moms as much as we did!

I wore this look yesterday to church + brunch with our family and it was perfect for the occasion + the weather.  (Side note, I also love that this dress doesn't wrinkle when you sit down or wear it for a while!  The fabric is really comfortable and great!)  I've always loved chambray in the Spring + Summer and this dress is so feminine and pretty.  Perfect for a daytime wedding, garden party, shower, or just simply to for weekend wear!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.
