Happy Friday, lovelies -

As you know, Mothers Day is right around the corner, on Sunday, May 14th, so I wanted to share my top five gift ideas with you!  My mom loves anything classic, sentimental, and/or something she'll get a lot of use out of, so I always put a lot of thought into what I choose each year.  Here are five go-to ideas that are sure to make your mom feel loved + appreciated this year!

01. // a pretty blouse -
My mom loves nothing more than to feel her best in what she has on.  Who doesn't, right?  Since Mothers Day always falls in the Spring, I love to get her something feminine, floral, or with dainty details, like lace.  Here are a few favorites (all under $50!):

02. // lipstick + perfume -
Every female loves beauty products!  I feel like it's instilled in most of us early on to play in mom's make up cabinet or spritz on her perfume when she's not looking.  But, the best part is, most of never grow out of it either!  My mom loves a signature scent and a fresh shade of lipstick for Spring, so I always know I can't go wrong with either one!  Here are a few favorites:

03. // le creuset
If your mom is anything like mine - she LOVES to cook.  Growing up, we ate at home almost every week night and Sunday lunch was a must.  As we've gotten older, it's always such a special time for my whole family to be able to gather around the dinner table.  It makes my mom's day for everyone to enjoy one of her home cooked meals, so what better than pretty pots and pans to do it in?!  Le Creuset has been one of our favorite things to collect over the years!  Here are a few must-have pieces:

04. // lovely home dècor -
For my mom, this is where the sentimental part comes in.  She loves to have beautiful things around her home that remind her of us and the meaning behind it.  Whether it be a luxurious candle, pretty accent pillow, or picture frame filled with a sweet memory, you can't go wrong.  Favorites are here:

.05 // fresh flowers + a classic vase -
Sometimes you just have to stick to what you know!  Fresh flowers are always such a beautiful gift that fills your home by bringing the outdoors in.  However, a lot of people forget that the vase can be a beautiful part of the gift that will last for year to come!  Each and every time my mom has flowers in the house, she pulls out her favorite, classic vases that she loves.  Here are a few that you cannot go wrong with:

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a beautiful weekend! x.

TGIT, babes -

I'm SO sorry I've been MIA this week!  The last five days have literally been non-stop.  From a couple of days in Charleston to taking off to NYC for the week, I've been a little all over the place!  But, SO MUCH FUN.  Even in the rain, I always love being in New York City.  It's such a crazy place, but just walking up and down the streets is magical.  We stayed in Soho (my favorite) at Nomo Soho one night and 11 Howard the next, and had the best time.  All of that to say, I'm equally as happy to be home!  I haven't even been my our new house (that's currently being renovated) in almost two weeks, so I'm beyond excited to see the progress + updates I've missed.  I'll be sure to share some of them with you on instagram stories and snapchat later this week, so stay tuned!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

Happy Friday, babes -

I hope you've all had a great week!  Ours has been a little crazy as we're finalizing a few of the final details for designing our new home.  I had no idea how stressful this process is at times!  Whew, just choosing door handles the other day was a process.  However, J and I love nothing more than a project we can work on together, so it's been so fun to design our new space together.  I literally cannot WAIT for it to be finished so I can share it with you all!

You all know how much I love a causal, chic outfit and this one is all the praise hands.  I've been wearing boyfriend denim literally non-stop!  They're so comfortable and pair so well with a chic pair of flats or sandals.  Also, I've had quite the hat obsession lately.  All I want to do is live my best life in a hat, whether that's a ball cap or a straw hat

Thanks so much for stopping by and cheers to the freakin' weekend, babes!  x.

Hi there, lovelies -

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  I wore this casual look while heading down to Reynolds last week because I knew the moment we arrived - I was headed straight to the water.  Literally there's no place I'd rather be!  I love this swimsuit SO much.  I have quite a few pieces by Marysia now and this top is by far my favorite I own.  It stays up (and in place) so well and it's easy to pull down the one shoulder side while laying in the sun.  Also, the high-waisted bottoms are such a fun and add a super chic detail to the look!

Two more days and we've made it to the weekend, babes!  Cheers to hump day!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Happy Monday, babes -

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend!  We spent the majority of the last few days in one of my favorite get away spots - Reynolds Plantation in Lake Oconee, GA.  John and I went there for the first time about a month ago and fell so in love with it that we had to go back as soon as possible.  It's only about 2.5 hours away from us, so it's a really easy drive when you need to get out of town.  Three days there just isn't enough!  I've always been more of an ocean girl myself, but combine the Ritz-Carlton with being surrounded by water and I'm sold.  Just as the sun was starting to rise on our first full day, J and I woke up early to take it all in.  (It's heated so the steam coming off of the water in the mornings + at night is breathtaking!)  As most of you probably know by now, mornings are my absolute favorite, so we loved watching the sun rise from the water before any one else was awake.  As you can tell, the view is absolutely stunning!  We literally just sat on the edge of the pool for hours in awe of the beauty that surrounded us and feeling so grateful for a few days away.  I'll be sharing a full round-up of our trip, along with more details later this week, so stay tuned!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.
