Shirt: Anthropologie {one of my favorite closet staples + less than $100} | Shorts: Topshop {only $55} | Sunglasses: Cèline | Hat: Janessa Leone | Bralette: Anine Bing | Sandals: Hermès

While in Newport, we wanted to explore as much of the city as we possibly could.  Our favorite way to do that - by boat.  The beautiful Antique Yacht picked us up right on the Gurney's dock and we sailed around the entire island with Veuve in hand.  The weather was perfect, the city was stunning, and my favorite person to adventure with was by my side.  As most of you know, I live my best live on the water, so this was the absolute perfect day!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We spent the majority of ours with friends + family and decided to have a little staycation here in Greenville!  Only a couple more days here and then headed back to the water again!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

Tee: Brandy Melville {also love this} | Skirt: Love Shack Fancy {also have + love this one} | Shoes: Golden Goose | Handbag: Chanel | Sunglasses: Quay {only $65!} | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

TGIF, babes -

I hope you all had a great week!  There are so many things I love about this casual look, but this skirt is hands down my favorite.  I've loved the brand for a while and was waiting on it to come out in the perfect color, and it doesn't get much better than blush, in my opinion!  I wore this easy, comfortable outfit to brunch with friends last weekend - such a perfect weekend look!

What are you guys up to this weekend?  My best friend is in town this week so we're spending time with our families this weekend and hoping for a little sunshine!  It's been raining for days and I'm so ready to be by the water + grill out!  Cheers, loves!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

Dress: Lovers + Friends | Trench: Lovers + Friends | Shoes: RAYE | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Quay {only $65!} | Necklace: Charme Silkiner | Bralette: Anine Bing | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

Is there anything better than an all white look and a tan?  The moment I saw this slip dress + trench combination, I knew I had to have it for our upcoming Rhode Island trip.  Since it was cool during the day and chilly once the sunset, this trench was the perfect layering piece.  I wore this look to dinner with J at The Chanler and it was absolutely amazing.  With the sunset in front of us, a table full of lobster, and cocktails in hand, it was the absolute perfect way to celebrate my birthday.  If you're ever in Newport, you HAVE to dine at The Spiced Pear!

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  I'm excited to be in town for a few days, even though we're really busy while we're home.  We only have a few more weeks until our house is finished and we cannot even wait!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Case | Goop Luminous Melting Cleanser | Stila Liquid Lipstick 'Caramello'

Hi there, babes -

When it comes to beauty products, I'm loyal to a fault.  As much as I love to try a new product, when I find THE one I love, I stick with it.  In the past few months, I've added a few new make up + hair products into my daily routine that aren't going anywhere anytime soon.  So sit back, pour a glass of rosè, and read all details below!

1. Goop.  I've always been a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, but this line is uh-mazing.  I don't typically require a cleanser, simply because I got used to removing my makeup with a wipe, but once I started using this, it was a game changer.  This cleanser removes dirt + makeup, all while reducing fine lines and wrinkles and leaving your skin glowing.  It also doesn't have a fragrance, which I really love.  I'm telling you, this cleanser is a bit of an investment, but totally worth every penny!

2. Nude Lipstick.  You all know how much I love a perfect nude lip - it's pretty much all I wear.  My favorite is Stripdown + Blankety because it's so classic, but lately, I've been adding 'Caramello' layered on top.  It stays in place all day long, extending the normal wear of my lipstick, and has vitamin E in it, so it doesn't dry out your lips.  This lipstick adds the perfect shine to any creamy lip!

3. #Blushing.  This Chanel Blush has been one of my favorites for almost a year and I can't seem to get over it.  (And don't want to.)  It adds the perfect amount of color to your cheek bones, while doubling as a sun-kissed bronzer.  'Golden Sun' couldn't be a more accurate name - it instantly gives you a pretty, golden glow!

4. Finishing Crème.  For the last several months, I've been embracing my natural wave and letting my hair air dry for the most part.  Before it dries completely, I use my T3 Hairdryer to scrunch the ends, giving my curl a little boost in the right direction.  Once it's dry, I apply a dime size amount of finishing crème to the ends to help keep the curls in tact and cut down the frizz.  I've fallen in love with everything from this line and this one is no exception!

5. Hair Oil.  Like the Finishing Crème and Wave Spray, the hair oil has completely transformed my hair.  Not only does it protect your color from fading and from heat, it smoothes frizz and seals split ends.  I apply a few drops to my damp hair before drying for a high-gloss, super-smooth finish!

6. Moisturize.  If there's one product I probably don't even have to mention, it's my OG La Mer Moisturizer.  It's the one product I literally can't live without (or leave out) - trust me, I've tried.  My skin is extremely dry year around, and there's nothing that works miracles quite like La Mer.  I've tried every moisturizer under the sun, but always, always come back to this one product.  Once you try it, not only will you NOT regret it, but you won't be able to use anything else - ever!

7. Contour.  I've used this kit on and off for a while now and realized that nothing compares to this one.  These six shades are perfect for highlighting, sculpting, and defining your features giving you the perfect, natural blend.  I use the Medium to Tan in the Summertime and absolutely love the flawless contour it gives me!

Trust me when I say that none of these products are sponsored in any way, just what I know and LOVE!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

TGIT, babes -

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  Today, I'm excited to share a few of our favorite 'must-see' spots from our trip to Newport, RI.  The minute we arrived, we took an Uber straight to Goat Island, home of the new Gurney's Newport.  Until about 3 months ago, this hotel was an old, run down Hyatt.  Since Gurney's has taken over, they've completely transformed (and are still transforming) the space into the perfect mid-century, boutique resort right beside the water.  On Goat Island, you're surrounded by the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay which feels really private and off the beaten path.  However, you're only minutes away from downtown Newport, giving you the best of both worlds.  The resort is still undergoing a bit of construction, but without a doubt, they're improving the rooms, restaurants, and spa each day until it's absolute Gurney's perfection!  The Pineapple Club (waterfront) restaurant and Scarpetta, our favorite Italian EVER, are already open on the property and definitely have to make your list.  Meanwhile, the 360-degree water views from anywhere at the resort are absolutely stunning and Goat Island is the perfect 'City in the Sea' location.

Shortly after checking in, we drove up the coast to Castle Hill for 'lunch on the lawn'.  They have a beautiful outdoor area, perfect for dining by the water, and the food is amazing.  We immediately ordered a bottle of red wine and lobster rolls, because #bestlife.  It was a bit chilly by the water, so the restaurant actually brought out blankets for us!  This lunch, these views, and my favorite travel partner by my side made for one amazing first day in Newport.

Later that evening, we had dinner reservations at The Spiced Pear, located inside The Chanler hotel.  It was by far, one of the best meals we've ever had!  Everything from their cocktails and appetizers to the main course and dessert, we never wanted to leave.  Get the 'French Pear Martini' and thank me later.

The sunsets in Newport were like no other.  We constantly kept checking the time to make sure we had a front row seat each night to watch the magic happen.

Moving on to breakfast in bed - seriously, who does NOT want their breakfast wheeled in and set up perfectly in front of you each morning?  Gurney's room service was THE best.  Other than the delicious breakfast, they also delivered a bottle of my favorite, Veuve Clicquot to our room and a charcuterie board each day.  The staff and service at both Gurney's locations are top notch.

Whether you're in the heart of downtown Newport or decide to stay close to the resort on Goat Island, there are SO many things to do.  As most of you know, we live our best life by the water, so we decided to take a boat out and see the city from the sea.  The Antique Yacht Collection is a private charter that is worth every single penny.  Greg and Alana (boat owners) picked us up right outside of our room on the Gurney's dock and we headed out to explore!  With Veuve Clicquot in hand and the stunning views surrounding us, it was definitely one of our favorite things we did while in Newport.  If you have a chance to see Newport from a yacht - do it.

Another fun thing we did was mansion hopped on Bellevue Avenue.  The Bellevue Avenue Historic District is located along and around Bellevue Avenue in NewportRhode Island.  Its property is almost exclusively residential, including many of the mansions built by affluent summer vacationers in the city around the turn of the 20th century, including the Vanderbilt family and Astor family.  This photo was taken outside of the Marble House, built and once owned by the Vanderbilt family.  The self-guided tour was so informational and the history that fills each room is beyond amazing.

Last, but definitely not least, I have to talk about the sunrise.  Two out of three mornings, we pulled ourselves out of bed and headed to the lighthouse (on the Gurney's property) and watched the sunrise over the bridge.  It was breathtaking.  Worth every minute of lost sleep and started our days off in the best possible way.  Gurney's Newport, you were one for the books and we can't wait to come back and visit again soon!
