Happy Monday, loves -

I'm especially happy that it's finally Monday after a LONG weekend of moving + unpacking, because it means we're on the other side of it all!  The past couple of weeks have been absolutely crazy, so I'm excited to get back to work and feel back to normal.  I was literally just saying to J as I type this that I should name this post 'I Finally Posted the Kimono'.  :/  I apologize for being a little MIA lately, but my office is officially set up and my creativity is flowing again, so here's to being back and better than ever!!

Thanks so much for stopping by babes, x.

CLASSIC STAPLES

Top: Anine Bing {the perfect boyfriend tee + so soft} | Denim: Levi's | Shoes: Valentino | Handbag: Chanel {dupe here} | Bralette: Anine Bing {my favorite} | Sunglasses: Cèline | Lips:  MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved a classic white tee + denim look.  No matter what my age or time of year, it's always so on point.  I have so many white tees that I love, all price ranges and some I love more than others, but I wanted to invest in one that would be my constant go-to.  A tee that was soft, comfortable, hit in all the right places, and could easily dress up or down a look.  Anine Bing is one of my all time favorite designers - I literally love every single piece she creates, from a classic tee to a silk slip dress.  So when I laid my eyes on this white tee, I knew it would be no different.  Timeless, comfortable, and sexy - all of my favorite things that Anine does so well.

Much like tees, I have so many different pairs of denim that I love.  They're all on constant rotation, all different brands, fits, and washes, but there's just something about a classic Levi that's irreplaceable.  This pair is so perfect because of the high-waisted fit, classic pockets in the back, and slight flared hem at the bottom.  I posted this photo on instagram last night, because I LOVE the back of a Levi jean so much.  There's something so retro about it that gives me all the feels.  (P.S. - this isn't sponsored in any way, just two pieces I truly love and wear often!)

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We spent most of last week and this weekend in preparation to move and only have FOUR more days until we're officially in our new house!  There are so many things I can't wait for and we're spending all week (this week) celebrating the start of new adventures - cheers to that!

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

SUEDE MINI + BELL SLEEVES

Top: Endless Rose {$60} | Skirt: Free People {only $60} | Handbag: Chanel {dupe here} | Shoes: Christian Louboutin {love these + these} | Sunglasses: Quay {$65} | Lips:  MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

Let me just start by saying that if I'm not in ripped jeans + a tee - I would want to LIVE in this outfit. Okay, possibly exchange these 140mm heels for flats, but other than that - obsessed.  I love that this top AND my skirt are both $60!  Such great closet staples for transitioning into Fall and so versatile.  I also just up'ed my mini skirt game by purchasing this in green and black!  Give me ALL the mini's for Fall!

I hope you all have a beautiful week and thanks so much for stopping by! x.

CUT OFFS + BUTTON DOWNS

Top: Cloth & Stone {similar here for less than $40} | Denim: One Teaspoon | Shoes: Raye | Handbag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Quay | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

TGIF, babes -

I hope you all had a great week!  I'm sorry I was a bit MIA, but our lives are ALL over the place right now!  We're in the home stretch though - only a couple more weeks of craziness and we'll be in the @thelovelycottage.  Be sure to follow along with our new instagram account to keep up with what's happening BTS!

This look is one of my favorites for a casual, yet chic outfit.  I love a classic, button-down top to wear anytime of year and even though I've had these OT cut off shorts forever, they're always a favorite.  Also, can we talk about these lace up sandals?!  The chunky heel makes them super comfortable and they come in 3-4 different colors, too!

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!  We're still celebrating J's birthday tonight with friends and then working at the new house all day on Saturday, so wish us luck!  What are you guys up to?

Thanks so much for stopping by, x.

NEUTRALS FOR FALL, UNDER $100

You guys.  Can we talk about the fact that it's 80 degrees and BEAUTIFUL here?  If I wasn't already, it has me craving ALL the Fall feels.  However, I'm fully aware that I live in the south and in 5 days, it'll be back to 105 degrees.  So, I'm always intentional about building my Fall wardrobe on three things: basics, neutrals (duh), and versatile pieces.  As I was making this collage for today, I couldn't help but hit 'check out' on every single one of these.  Yeah, I'm totally one of those people that has to walk the walk she's talking - in every aspect of life.

If you're anything like me, you live in work out clothes - even when you're not working out.  It's just so comfortable and easy to throw on and go.  So numbers 9 + 10 were a no brainer for me.  Aside from those, I LIVE in white denim year around, constantly throw on oversized sweaters with shorts and pants alike, die for anything camo OR army green in general, and love a chic statement piece (like this moto vest or romper) that instantly makes your whole look.  Needless to say, for the price point AND the functionality, you cannot go wrong with these neutral picks!

I hope you're all having a great week so far and thanks so much for stopping by! x.
