The Lovely Edit | NO. 7

One thing that I am currently SO in love with is my nighttime routine.  The older I get, the more I want to take care of my skin and body the right way.  From feminine, pretty pajamas to luxurious skincare to silk bedding, I love it all.

I started using La Mer products a little over a month ago, and as much as I didn't want to love them (because of the price tag), I absolutely do.  From the time I wake up to the time I lay back down at night, my skin has never felt better.  (Side note - this is not a sponsored post, just my honest opinion!)  I'm totally the type of person that is happy to spend money on something IF it's worth it.  A chic pair of shoes, a luxury handbag, staple pieces of jewelry, AND skincare.  The products I've used so far: the moisturizing cream, the body crème, the illuminating eye gel, and the lip repair.  (I use all of these products at night, before bed.  I like to sleep in the heavier creams/serums and use something lighter in the mornings.)  I'm literally obsessed with each and every one!  Other than the pretty pajamas, my other favorite thing is this silk pillowcase!  I purchased one in pink (obvs) a couple of months ago and LOVE it!  It's worked really well with my skin so far, but the best part is - silk stays cool to the touch.  There's nothing I love more than climbing into clean, cool sheets at night and curling up! Anyone with me?!

If you have any questions about any of these products (or pajamas), feel free to leave a comment below, snapchat me, or comment on my instagram!  I'm happy to answer anything I can about them.  What works for me, may not work the same for everyone, but if you have dry skin, you should definitely give them a try!

Thanks so much for stopping by! xx.

  2. I would love a post on how you use each of the La Mer products. I'm not a product person so all of these run together to me and I am at the age where I need to start paying attention. La Mer is the one that I keep going hack to. I realize it is an investment but I just want to make sure I know what I am doing before I invest.

  3. Also, I am wondering about the smell! I recently started Moroccan oil dry shampoo and I love the smell. It is totally worth the price in my opinion just for the smell. Does La Mer have a smell?

  4. Hey Megan, I'm a long-time follower of yours and rarely comment on here (more so on IG), but I wanted to thank you for being honest about these La Mer products. I find it hard to believe to talk about personal opinions about products these days without a sponsorship so I appreciated your feedback even when you didn't get paid to say it.

P.S. That tee and silk shirts! #HelloLover

  6. I wish I could convince myself that it's worth it to spend so much money on the La Mer moisturizer!! It's hard to risk even trying it just because of the price.
