Army Green Jacket + GiGi NY Bag

 Tee: Current/Elliott {also love these for less than $20} | Jeans: Current/Elliott {closet staple + currently 25% off!} | Jacket: Cupcakes & Cashmere {super similar + here for less than $70} | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik {super similar} | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: David Yurman {one + two} | Ring: David Yurman | Sunglasses: Cèline {similar} | Handbag: GiGi New York c/o | Lips: MAC Liner 'Stripdown' + MAC Lipstick 'Blankety'

As most of you probably know, my go-to casual outfit it a white tee, dark denim + cognac accessories.  I love the clean, neutral look that can be worn over and over again.  And of course, I like to layer a military jacket or cozy cardigan over top for once the sun goes down.  This bag, the Casey, is the newest crossbody bag from GiGi New York and I'm so happy to have launched it with them last week!  It's such a great color + size and can even be monogrammed with your initials if you'd like!  Definitely a Fall must-have that you'll get tons of use out of for years to come!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We're LOVING our time here in Nashville and soaking up every minute of the beautiful weather.  Last night, we went to this vineyard called Arrington and it was breathtakingly beautiful.  We bought a bottle of cab, cozied up on our quilt and watched the sunset.  It was literally one of my favorite dates we've ever had!  If you're close by, you have to visit it, you'll fall in love!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Fall Plaid: Two Different Ways

Tank: Nasty Gal {so comfy} | Shirt: Nasty Gal | Jeans: Current/Elliott {similar} | Booties: Frye | Handbag: Chloe | Sunglasses: Cèline {similar} | Lips:  MAC Liner in 'Hoover' + MAC Lipstick in 'Kinda Sexy'

With the start of Fall + while starting to incorporate plaid into my outfits, I'm always looking for new ways to wear it.  Plaid scarvesdressesjackets, etc all add such a cozy, cool weather aspect to an outfit.  With the weather currently transitioning, having the option to take off your shirt and tie it around your waist is a must.  Here in Greenville, it's still around 80-85 degrees (most days) mid-day, so I loving having a tank underneath and layering the plaid.  The closer and closer we get to the holidays, I'll constantly be gravitating towards anything red +'s kind of a problem!

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Little Lace Set

Top: Lovers & Friends | Skirt: Lovers & Friends {on sale!! I'm wearing a size small in both, for reference} | Shoes: Valentino {exact dupes for less than $100} Clutch: YSL | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: David Yurman {one + two} | Earrings: Nordstrom | Ring: David Yurman | Sunglasses: Cèline {super similar for less than $40} | Lips: MAC Liner in 'Hoover' + MAC Lipstick in 'Kinda Sexy'

This is by far, the perfect, super feminine crop top + mmi skirt set!  I love the color, the lace, the fit - everything!  (The skirt is on sale, too!)  I wore this outfit while in NYC and knew I wanted to make the entire look neutral.  Everything from shoes, to clutch to jewelry so the outfit would stay the center of attention.  I'm definitely planning to wear each of these pieces separately, too.  The skirt would be so cute with a cropped, chunky sweater and the top with highwaisted denim!

I'm spending the day packing for a little weekend getaway and I could not be more excited!  We're heading to one of my favorite places in the morning - any guesses?!  Be sure to follow along on snapchat, @meganrunionmcr!

Oh and P.S. - you'll have to excuse the red marks on my right this point I was carrying around like 3 huge bags from attending different events and it was obviously taking a toll on me!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.

Transitioning into Fall

Coat: Vince Camuto {currently 25% off!}| Top: Free People {currently 40% off!} | Jeans: Zara {old, similar herehere, + here all under $100} | Booties: Frye {similar here} | Bag: Chloe {tan} | Sunglasses: Cèline {similar here for less than $25} | Lips: MAC Liner in 'Hoover' + MAC Lipstick in 'Kinda Sexy'

This time of year, it's hard to know how to dress when you're leaving the house.  The mornings are cool and dreary until the sun comes out and warms things up, but then it's chilly again once the sun goes down.  During this transitional time into Fall, I always make sure to have a lightweight coat or jacket with me for two different reasons: 1, because I'm typically ALWAYS cold so once the sun goes down, I definitely need an extra layer and 2, because it adds an entirely different look to your outfit.  When I think about Fall, I immediately think of the word layering and that's exactly what I have to do on a daily basis.  Especially in the south!  This Vince Camuto jacket is perfect for throwing on over a casual outfit and not too bulky to tie around your waist or drape over your arm during the day.  I love the color, too!  I'm obsessed with anything army green right now and this one reminds me a lot of a field jacket.  When wearing cognac accessories and a casual, basic outfit, this jacket is perfection!

Here are a few of my other favorites for transitioning into Fall with:
(I especially love this tan + black wrap coat!!)
